As T&W supply high value wines a Returns Policy, within the EU Distance Selling Directive (Oct 2000) is advisable. Read the EU articles forwarded with the below. These are my suggested areas but TH must decide. A link to a EU Distance Selling info page (consumer type, not trader) or a page on the site summarising the Directive. Condition in which a case will be accepted back into stock and a credit or refund made. Sealed, unopened at top, bottom or side, undamaged unless a note, duly signed is made on the carriers documentation. Note that T&W wines will open and inspect all returned cases. Condition in which a bottle will be accepted back into stock and a credit or refund made Sealed capsule, unopened and untampered, undamaged front and back labels How must the returned cases, bottles be returned - in what packing, by what method. Will T&W pay for the return carriage charge if the return is accepted? Are items sent with cases also to be returned. E.g. if a AA Wine Guide is enclosed as part of the orders as a foc promotional item must it also be returned? Choice of a credit against a future purchase or immediate exchange, differences in credit amount and new purchase /exchange amount, refunds to credit cards. Clive is saying : if the wine isn't right , the quality of the wine that is attributable with the natural process of this product we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return if the wine is as expected quality if the wine is a vintage wine and this is shown on the label then a return is not accepted. Purchased based on the Note that this page is global, not just for 5m members. It is in the /upload folder. From back page
All orders are subject to confirmation, especially for wines of the smaller or most popular vintages. All wines are guaranteed to be in the condition one would reasonably expect for the age and type. We pay particular attention to levels and labels.
