is a shrine at Bury St. Edmunds and again one at Norwich; and
roughly in the middle another at Thetford, rather more recent
and, not being a cathedral, rather more prosaically called T&W
Wines. It, too, has it's faithful pilgrims. Trevor Hughes started
out in the restaurant business but sold his holding when, shining
like a beacon, wine called him to service. He just happened
to be there on the Suffolk / Norfolk border which is how Thetford
came to have what is arguably the finest wine business on earth.
The geography is irrelevant, it would have taken root in the
same way, wherever Trevor Hughes happened to be."
